Slimjet – a web browser built on the top of the Chromium open-source project with many additional features and options added to make it more powerful, intelligent and customizable than Chrome. In addition to that, Slimjet DOES NOT send any usage statistics back to Google’s server like Google Chrome, which is a growing concern for many Chrome users due to the ubiquitous presence and reach of the advertising empire.
It uses the Blink engine and offers a safer, faster, versatile, customizable browsing experience plus the unparalleled level of security and privacy.
Slimjet web browser is integrated to Facebook and you can share anything on Facebook just b clicking on the Facebook button on the navigation toolbar. It also automatically compresses the photos and helps uploading them 20 times faster. Just go to the settings and click on Photo Processing to check and edit the photo shrinking settings.
Slimjet is compatible with all extensions and plugins designed for Google Chrome available from the Chrome web store.
Slimjet Web Browser is released under the freeware license, it is free both for personal and commerical use.
The application is developed by FlashPeak which also released SlimBrowser which uses the Microsoft Trident layout engine and SlimBoat which uses WebKit, but both are no longer supported.
